Senior's Roaring '20's Dinner and Dance

If you've been searching for something fun to do on a Thursday night, this is the place! What if you're single? Or the old ball and chain says "that's not my scene"? Come on out and join us anyway! This Dinner and Dance is not just for couples! We have a roaring night planned full of dancing, food and good times! It'll be the bee's knees so get your tickets today!

A prize for the best 1920’s Themed Get-Up will be awarded. Costumes are optional so you can go all out or come as you are! There will be a photo area available to make pictures and commemorate the fun so remember your camera or mobile phone.

Make plans to kick off your holiday season right with the Powder Springs "A Storybook Christmas" Parade and Tree Lighting!  First grab your spot along Marietta Street to enjoy the garland and lights as the Parade marches by then make your way to Town Square for the Annual Tree Lighting! We'll have music, hot chocolate and cookies, and pictures with Santa!

Reindeer 5k Family Fun Run

Date: Dec.2nd
Time: 9:00am
Location: Wildhorse Trail
The City of Powder Springs Wellness Team is proud to be sponsoring the Reindeer 5k fun run on the Wildhorse Trail. Staging for the run will be at 9 a.m. at the Wildhorse Creek Park located at 3820 Macedonia Rd. by the lower ballfield. The run will commence on the scenic Wildhorse Trail and will loop back to Wildhorse Creek Park and will end with hot cocoa and cookies. Registration is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-12 years old. Children 1-3 years old are free. A family participation package is available for $25. Pets are allowed as long as they are on leashes. The proceeds from the run will benefit the City of Powder Springs Angel Trees. Participants who register by November 17th will receive a Reindeer Run t-shirt. All levels of fitness are encouraged to attend.

Veteran's Day Ceremony

 Description: Residents and religious organizations of Powder Springs will gather together to celebrate and exercise one of their most precious freedoms – the right to gather, worship, and pray to God. Join us as recognize this special day and pray for our country and community.


July 4th Celebration and Fireworks

Location: Downtown Powder Springs
Cost: Free and Open to the Public; 
Downtown Powder Springs is the place to be on July 4th! The fun begins at 7 p.m. with a performance by The Glow Band! The festivities will end with a spectacular fireworks display presented by Croy Engineering! This event is free and open to the public. Games, inflatables, vendors, and food will also be available throughout the celebration.

Our Fireworks will be shooting from a new location this year in Powder Springs Park. Please plan to park your vehicle in a different location as the park will be closed on July 4th.
