Those are not mere words for us. That is our mission; that is our goal; that is our purpose. We understand the obligation of the office we have been given. We understand that with the great power and authority we have been entrusted comes even greater responsibility, and even more so, accountability. This cannot simply be trusted to just anyone. It takes a person of courage; it takes a person of integrity.

You have entrusted us not only to exhibit courage, but to be that courage of bravery and boldness that will bring about change and impact lives. You have entrusted us not to just hold that integrity as a virtue, but to be the integrity that brings about honor, unification, togetherness, and stability to our profession and to the community we serve.

We at the Powder Springs Police Department will serve our community with courage and integrity. We will serve our community with respect…We will serve our community. In order to serve our community and meet the needs of our community, we must become part of our community. It is important that we engage in every aspect; from our neighborhoods, our schools, our businesses, and our churches. Individually we can impact the lives around us, but together we can make history.
