Once a candidate has submitted an application, he/she will be notified of the upcoming Physical Agility Testing dates. The candidate must successfully meet the requirements below in order to move forward in the process:
1) Dynamic Strength (One Minute Sit Ups)
Minimum requirements: Cooper fitness absolute standard of 27 sit ups in one minute as the cutoff for a minimum passing score for this test. Rest for 5 minutes and then proceed to the pushups.
2) Dynamic Strength (One Minute Push Ups)
Minimum requirements: Cooper fitness absolute standard of 18 continuous pushups in one minute as the cutoff for a minimum passing score for this test. Rest 10 minutes, and then proceed to the 300 meter run.
3) 300 Meter Run (Measured in Seconds)
Minimum requirements: Cooper fitness absolute standard of 68 seconds as the cutoff for a minimum passing score for this test. Rest 10 minutes then proceed to the 1 mile run.
4) Cardio-respiratory Fitness Test (1 Mile Run)
Minimum requirements: Cooper fitness absolute standard of 10:20 as the cutoff for a minimum passing score for this test.
