South Cobb Arts Alliance
Art is the heart of the South Cobb Arts Alliance. Whether you see it in the brushstroke of an artist, smiles from an audience, or through the eyes of a child… it’s the heart of the SCAA. Since 1972, our goal has been to continue and to grow the many SCAA events while keeping them free of charge or at a discount, so that every family can be a part of the fun, learning, and appreciation of the arts.
The South Cobb Arts Alliance is an all volunteer supported non-profit committed to providing opportunities for the general public to broaden their art experiences, opening doors to those in our community who might otherwise not partake in the arts, providing monetary support to educators and art students. SCAA is an integral part of the South Cobb area and is one of the leading forces in the arts and cultural environment of Cobb County. This strength is made possible through the partnership of the SCAA with the City of Powder Springs, Cobb County Libraries, Cobb County Board of Commissioners, area businesses and volunteers working toward a common goal - the recognition and support of the area's cultural arts.
South Cobb Arts Alliance is located in Powder Springs with exhibits and activities throughout the area. Programs presented by the SCAA are held at The Gallery in Powder Springs, Vinings, and South Cobb Regional Libraries and at other venues and even locations for special events. Event information at southcobbarts.org
Art is a wonderful way to help build and strengthen our communities. It helps to engage, inspire, and encourage us to reach out and connect with each other, express our creative voice and create shared experiences while working together toward meaningful outcomes. Empower our community with SCAA local arts programs. South Cobb Arts Alliance is a nonprofit organization made up entirely of unpaid volunteers, and when you donate to SCAA, know that 100% of your contribution goes toward supporting arts projects and activities. SCAA has been serving our community for almost 50 years, and your membership fees and volunteer service helps to continue our mutual beneficial advancement of the arts.
